• This position will report directly to the Foreman/ Construction Manager
• Foremen will lead and supervise crews on proper installation strand/fiber/OTs/hardware/training
• Climbing poles, load/unload strand/fiber reels and/or pull fiber lasher
• Recognize make ready issues and perform QC of crews work each day
• Individual must be able to make sound decisions and interact with the clients
• Must be able to interpret communication design drawings
• Must have strong knowledge of electric/telecommunication codes
• Minimum 2 years foreman experience / 5 aerial fiber installation experience
• Must complete daily paperwork
• Willingness and ability to perform other applicable duties as assigned.

Must possess valid Chauffeur type drivers’ license + DOT medical card (CDL with air brake endorsement a plus) and have acceptable driving record.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

CEO Executive Assistant

Williamston based telecommunications construction company has an immediate opening for a versatile CEO Executive Assistant. Must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation:

Job Description: Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Executive Assistant provides

executive support in a one-on-one working relationship,  serves as the primary point of contact for the CEO. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the senior management team, and oversees special projects. Must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain CEO and upper management schedules.
  • Act as a liaison between CEO and employees.
  • Take meeting notes and follow up on tasks that are assigned.
  • Lead person on social media for the company (LinkedIn, website, etc).
  • Maintain CEO’s email account.
  • Creating PowerPoint and other presentations for management.
  • Travel with CEO and or management to customer locations.
  • Maintain sales and marketing data.

In-building DAS Technician

Earthcom  is seeking an In-building DAS Technician to join our Distributive Antenna Systems (DAS) team.  Position is based out of Lansing and requires frequent travel throughout the Midwest.   The In-building DAS Technician assists the Lead Technician with the installation of in-building cellular DAS.  

The DAS Installation Technician performs the following tasks:  

  • Install and terminate coax cabling inside buildings. Application of structured cabling methods is required.
  • Install RF optical fiber, terminate fiber.
  • Install in-building and rooftop antenna(s) .
  • Install racks and frames for head-end equipment
  • Able to perform work from ladders and man-lifts when necessary
  • Collect repair and/or project close-out data (RF measurements, photos, DAS setting snapshots, etc.)

Cabling experience is desired, but not required.  Cable TV installation technicians are encouraged to apply.  Opportunity for Advancement for the right candidate.  Must have good communication skills and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner.    Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and pass pre-employment drug screen.
