~~Lansing based wireless telecommunications construction/service company is seeking a full-time Controller in its Williamston, Michigan office.  Earthcom is a multi-enterprise entity that performs services throughout the United States.  This position will oversee the financial matters of the company under the direction of the CEO.


Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the chart of accounts;
• Maintain and orderly accounting system;
• Oversee and manage proper job costing and allocation;
• Maintain proper controls over the accounting system;
• Oversight of A/P and A/R;
• Ensure proper bank reconciliations;
• Update and maintain general ledger with best accounting practices;
• Provide financial analysis/reports as needed;
• Comply  with local, state and federal government standards and reporting.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA designation not required) with 5+ years professional accounting experience;
• Proficient in Quickbooks platform, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
• Previous payroll experience a plus;
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation: commensurate with  experience and qualifications.
