3rd Party Inspections

Earthcom performs third party inspections, which can be defined as an inspector or other agent hired to act on behalf of a purchaser to determine if the specifications or contract has been satisfied as it relates to a product or service.

Third party inspections are on the rise partially due to corporate downsizing. Companies are seeing their own workforce on the decline to the extent that it is more difficult to keep in-house inspection personnel on the payroll. Additionally, many companies feel their position is strengthened with their contractors through the use of a third party inspector. Additionally companies are finding this to be an economical, long term investment that does reduce the risk of project failure not to mention it establishes higher quality work.

Most importantly, many clients have discovered that third party inspections are an invaluable tool as its a way to have "eyes-on-location". Significant job cost savings have also been seen by using third party inspection personnel when needed instead of keeping permanent in-house employees on the payroll.
